Waterfalls, bohemian spirit, and jungle beaches
About Montezuma
Montezuma is a small, artsy village at the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula with a long-standing reputation as a gathering place for free spirits, backpackers, and nature lovers. The Montezuma Waterfalls, a 15-minute walk from the village, cascade in three tiers through the jungle into natural swimming pools. Cabo Blanco Absolute Nature Reserve, the oldest protected area in Costa Rica, is 11 km away and offers excellent hiking through primary forest to a remote beach.
