What is a shared shuttle?

A shared shuttle is a scheduled service that connects Costa Rica’s main tourist destinations. You share the vehicle with other travelers, which keeps costs lower. Pickups operate from designated zones in each town — typically near the central park or main bus terminal.

Who is it for?

  • Solo travelers and couples looking for the best value
  • Travelers with flexible schedules who can adapt to fixed departure times
  • Backpackers and budget-conscious travelers
  • Anyone traveling between popular tourist destinations

How does it work?

  1. 1

Book your seat through the catalog or contact us to check availability.

  2. 2

We confirm your booking and send the pickup zone and departure time.

  3. 3

Arrive at the designated pickup zone at least 10 minutes before departure.

  4. 4

The shuttle departs on schedule and drops you at the destination zone.

Shared shuttle vs. private transfer

Shared shuttles are more affordable but operate on fixed schedules and pick up multiple passengers. If you need flexibility, a private transfer may be a better fit. If you’re traveling solo or as a couple and your schedule is flexible, the shared shuttle is excellent value.
