What is a private transfer?
A private transfer is a door-to-door service exclusively for your group. No shared vehicles, no fixed stops for other passengers. The driver picks you up at your hotel, accommodation, or airport and takes you directly to your destination.
Who is it for?
- Families with children or elderly travelers
- Groups that value flexibility and comfort
- Travelers arriving or departing from SJO or LIR airports
- Anyone who prefers not to share a vehicle with strangers
How does it work?
- 1
Request your transfer through the booking catalog or contact form.
- 2
We confirm availability and send you the details within 24 hours.
- 3
Your driver meets you at the agreed pickup point at the scheduled time.
- 4
You travel directly to your destination — no intermediate stops.
How is it different from a shared shuttle?
Shared shuttles operate on fixed schedules and pick up multiple travelers along the route. Private transfers depart when you’re ready and go directly to your destination. The price is per vehicle, not per person.
