What exactly is our “COVID-19 Measures”

At Faro Travel Costa Rica, personalized service and attention to detail towards our clients has always been paramount. Today, that’s still our mission, with a new focus on safety and prevention under the "COVID-19 Measures" program. Based on the premises of security, exclusivity, enjoyment and unique experiences we have made adjustments to every aspect of our management. Our protocols are attached to the Protocol for Activities and Tourism Sector and the guidelines of the Ministry of Health of Costa Rica.

• All staff undergo a temperature check at the start of their shifts, shoe disinfection before entering the unit, also daily health status is monitored.

• Staff is granted personal protective equipment which they must adequately use at all times in the presence of passengers, colleagues, etc. 

• Respect the distance between the work team and passengers.

• Follow the proper greeting protocol, washing and disinfecting hands with alcohol when entering and leaving the unit.

• All units will be disinfected, before and after every service.

• Amenities are also disinfected before you enjoy your transfer.

• The “COVID-19 Measures” seal guarantees that the unit is clean and ready for you.

• Respect the distance between the work team and passenger.

• We will provide hand sanitizer to each of the passengers and the soles of the passenger’s shoes are also sanitized before boarding the unit. 

• When receiving passengers and their luggage, suitcases will be disinfected before boarding any unit and help will be provided if necessary.

• The driver will be in charge of opening and closing the vehicle doors.

• All passengers are responsible for their own personal protective equipment, face mask / face shield / gloves, etc.

• Follow the proper cough, sneeze and greeting protocols issued by the ministry of health.

• Respect the distance between social bubbles in the different spaces as well as in all activities.

• The air conditioning in all units is properly maintained, however, if possible, natural air will be used.
