Private transportation means that you and your party will have a private contract on the van and nobody else will join you. It includes a courtesy waiting hour at the pick-up location or to make a stop on route where passengers can take time to eat, shop, take pictures, etc... But cannot leave the designated route unless specifically expressed in writing. After this time Transportes Freylid will charge $20.00 per extra hour of waiting.

Private transport service offers a safe, convenient, and flexible way to travel anywhere within Costa Rica and will remove the hassle and stress of navigating on your own, while still being flexible with your travel schedule and needs. 

Private transport can be scheduled anytime you wish and from any airport, hotel, private home, or identifiable landmark in Costa Rica.

Shared Shuttles are shared with other tourists that are going on the same route and cost less money as it is a shared expense.

For group sizes of one, two, and sometimes three people, shuttle service is the most convenient and economical way to travel between destinations in Costa Rica; these services connect the main tourist destinations in an easy and reliable way with no hassles or worries. Shuttle routes operate daily, and in some cases, there are multiple departure times throughout the day.

The driver will wait a maximum of 10 minutes at the pick-up location for a passenger as this is a shared service. If the passenger doesn't show up 10 minutes passed the pick-up time they will be considered No Show and 100% of the service will be charged.

No; it is not necessary to print your booking confirmation, the mobile ticket is also accepted. Our driver will meet you at the pickup location that you stated in the reservation.

Yes; however, shared shuttles are not allowed by law to wait or park at the San Jose Airport, therefore pickups will be at the established times only at two close restaurants near the airport, either Malinche right outside the airport or Denny's Aeropuerto, the correct place will be confirmed in the service confirmation voucher.

Yes; however, shared shuttles are not allowed by law to wait or park at the Liberia Airport, therefore pickups will be at the established times at Liberia VIP Lounge restaurant right outside the airport, on the left side of “the main arrivals gate”. It is important for you to arrive there 20 minutes prior to your pick-up time. 

Our representatives will meet at the gate and guide you to our unit; they will be carrying a sign with the name of the client or wear our uniform with the Faro Travel logo. Do not listen to other vendors trying to sell you services, charge you more, grab your bags, or tell you that we are not coming for you. If for some reason you cannot find our representative contact us by phone or email.

Our driver will arrive at the lobby or reception; he will identify himself and ask for passengers' names; when passengers are found driver will help with their luggage and take them to the vehicle.

Shuttles include a 15-minute rest stop for passengers and drivers, and stopping points are established by Faro Travel. This stop may be a connection point or may involve a change of vehicle depending on the route. Passengers who need to make a connection please be sure to have all of your luggage and belongings with you before moving to the other vehicle. Our driver will help move luggage to the next vehicle.
