Arenal White Water Rafting Class III & IV at Sarapiquí River

White-water rafting on the Sarapiqui River — class II-III rapids through lush rainforest, suitable for beginners and families.

Your rafting adventure begins with a 1.5-hour scenic drive from Arenal through plantations of papaya, pineapple, and yucca at the base of Arenal Volcano. At the put-in point, certified guides cover the safety briefing and paddling instructions before you enter the Sarapiqui River. The Class III and IV rapids run through lush rainforest. A tropical fruit snack break on the riverbank and a typical Costa Rican lunch at the end are included.
