The Farm & Cheese Tour is an authentic and immersive rural experience that invites visitors to connect with the daily life of a local family farm in the heart of Monteverde. Guests interact closely with farm animals, learn about their care, and take part in hands-on activities such as feeding calves and observing the daily operations of the farm. A highlight is the traditional hand-milking of Jersey cows, where visitors can learn and even try this time-honored practice. The centerpiece of the experience is the preparation of fresh artisanal cheese and homemade tortillas, following traditional recipes and techniques passed down through generations.
